Tiamo, an eleven-acre private estate of the late Princess Nina Aga Khan, is a rolling hillside property with profusely-flowering landscaped gardens, a bubbling spring cascading into small ponds filled with colourful fish, and pointed-roofed Polynesian villas, designed and built by the Princess over 50 years ago.

A celebrated fashion model that graced the covers of the international glossy magazines of her day, the Princess was given the spectacularly beautiful property by her second husband, the late Prince Saddrudin Aga Khan. It was originally owned by movie director, Charles Rochas. She named the estate "Tiamo" - Italian for "I love you". Later, estranged from her royal husband, she lived there with her pet panther, a gift from an admirer, Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Her guests would have included author Robin Moore, the Baroness Opel (of Opel cars) and the other rich and titled jet setters of the day. She entertained her celebrity guests in the heart-shaped "Moon Garden", the "Hibiscus Garden" and the central "Tea House" .

Now upgraded and restored as Tiamo Villas & Spa, it continues to offer panoramic coastal views in all directions, east to Dragon Bay and west past Pellew Island (also once owned by the Princess) as far as the Alligator Head peninsula, originally the property of the Princess' first husband, the late Baron Heinrich Thyssen, and now owned by his daughter, Francesa Hapsburg.
